Terms of Service
Last updated 14 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BOOKITT (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website, customer accounts, and business portal. By creating an account or using BOOKITT, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use BOOKITT
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Business accounts must represent a legitimate business or sole trader offering services listed on the platform.
2. Account types
- Customer accounts let you browse businesses, request appointments, and manage your bookings.
- Business accounts let you create a public profile, list services, set availability, and accept or manage bookings from customers.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Bookings
- A booking request is not confirmed until the business accepts it (unless your business settings state otherwise).
- Customers and businesses must provide accurate contact and appointment information.
- Cancellation rules may vary by business. Respect stated policies and communicate changes promptly.
- BOOKITT facilitates scheduling but is not the service provider. Quality, safety, and delivery of the underlying service are the responsibility of the business and customer involved.
4. Business listings
Business owners agree to:
- Provide accurate business name, location, hours, and pricing.
- Only list services they are qualified and authorised to offer.
- Respond to booking requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Not use BOOKITT for unlawful, misleading, or harmful activity.
We may remove or suspend listings that violate these Terms or harm the platform or its users.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Harass, abuse, or impersonate others.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform.
- Upload malware, spam, or illegal content.
- Circumvent security, fees, or access controls.
6. Fees & payments
BOOKITT may offer free and paid plans for businesses. Pricing shown on our site applies at the time of signup or upgrade. Payment terms for subscriptions are disclosed at checkout. We may change pricing with reasonable notice where required.
Payments for services booked through BOOKITT (e.g. a haircut or tutoring session) are between customer and business unless we explicitly offer in-app payment processing.
7. Intellectual property
BOOKITT owns the platform, branding, and software. You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions) and grant us a licence to display and operate it on the service.
8. Disclaimers
BOOKITT is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the conduct of any user or business on the platform.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BOOKITT and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, disputes between users, or third-party services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or TT$100 if you paid nothing.
10. Termination
You may stop using BOOKITT at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose risk to the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which BOOKITT operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
